Lemon Lager

First lager I've ever brewed. Not normally my style of beer, but this was pretty good. 

A slightly modified version of this recipe on Brewfather

Mash

  • 1.5kg can Pilsner extract

  • 400g Carapils

  • Adjusted up to 1044 with Dextrose

The carapils steeped around 60 minutes in about 6L of water @ 67ish.

Boil

  • 15g Hallertauer Mittelfrüher @ 60m

  • 15g Hallertauer Mittelfrüher @ 30m

  • 15g Lemondrop @ 0m

Fermentation

Aiming for a total volume of 12L or so, pitched at 1044 or thereabouts with Morgan's Lager yeast, finished around 1010. Fermented at 18-24C under 15psi.

Kegged in 4L and 5L mini-kegs this time!

I cheated and pushed it through a filter... but looks the part.
